Built and fired at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1998 these sculptural works were produced in honour of and with respect to the first nations people of the east coast.  The pieces were inspired by their traditional rituals and customs relating to the spirits. They are handbuilt, life sized clay sculptures.  There are four sculptures:
Honour,
Offer,
Purify
and
Sacrifice.

Placed in a natural wooded setting the sculptures are part of the environment and will with time merge with it.
